Improved serviceability: easier access to components and less time for maintenance
Factory-installed options for the new Doosan crawler excavators include the following:
- Straight travel pedal, which allows the operator to travel in a straight line more easily
- Two-way auxiliary hydraulic line (pedal & joystick control) & low flow aux. hydr. line for rotating or tilting tool (pedal & joystick control)
- Cab guarding for special applications
- Dozer blade & Arti
- 500 mm rubber pads
The features offered as standard in the cab are among the best in the market and include: outstanding comfort, ease-of-operation thanks to extra ergonomics, super controllability with a new system that enables attachments to be operated from either the joystick or 2-way pedal. The jog shuttle switch is currently an exclusive feature worldwide.
The DX140LCR-5 performances have been increased compared to the previous model:
- Engine power is increased by 6% & torque by 3%
- Swing torque is boosted by 28%
Lifting capacities are increased by 3 to 4% on average
Fuel consumption has been lowered up to 10% compared to the previous generation. New systems and functions have been incorporated to achieve this significant result.
For example, the current fuel consumption can be read directly on the LCD panel, and the engine can be shut off automatically after a pre-set time when the machine is not being operated. In addition, to save fuel: Doosan has developed a special new system – called SPC (Smart Power Control) – to optimise the balance between the pumps’ output and the diesel engine.
Remember: the entire new excavator range operates without a DPF. This guarantees trouble-free operation.
